Presentations

I learned a few things about all the different countries that were being compared to Pakistan. I thought all the presentation were well thought out as well. People who have been using Powerpoint for a while knew how to do cool things with their presentations. Some of the slides were hard to read because of the background coloring and the color of the font. It isn't a big deal though because I wasn't really reading the slides anyway.

Back tracking to the speaker who came the week before, I thought he was really informative. I expected the presentation to be like the library one, but luckily it wasn't. He talked about websites that I didn't even know were available to me. The one that I am really happy I learned about was the optimal resume one. Now my resume won't be too hard to write. He also explained internships and I would now like to internship as soon as I can. I don't think I will study abroad though because many people say that transferring the credits are really difficult and you need to constantly remind the people who take care of those things to help you.

  1. Hi Eileen,

Thank you so much for writing about us! I'm Kelly Giles - Optimal Resume's social media strategist, and we're thrilled that our website will make your life easier.

I guess you know how to log on at your university, but just in case, all you have to do is visit https://montclair.optimalresume.com and create a new account. Your school gives you tons of great tools in addition to the resume builder. You can build cover letters, create online portfolios and websites, and practice for interviews.

You can also take skills assessments - that's where you might want to start. You can get an idea of what's important in the industry in which you'd like to intern, then make sure that your resume showcases those qualities and skills. What kind of internship are you looking for?

Anyway, thanks again for mentioning us. Don't hesitate to get in touch if we can help as you get started with Optimal! We'd also love to see anything you make. Feel free to share it with us! We're on Facebook and Twitter.
